Cutting Edge Stencil Giveaway!!!

Let's face it, stencils have certainly gained popularity lately with talented bloggers/designers creating focal walls and adding interesting textures to their interiors.  If the idea of stencils reminds you of circa de 1980 mauve and Wedgwood blue country borders, think again.  Here are a couple of examples that might change your mind.

This is one example done by Janell of Isabella & Max.
Then there is this room done by Lauren of Pure Style Home

I have shopped the market though, and not all stencils are the same.  So when I found Cutting Edge Stencils with their extensive line of damasks, wall art, and designer stencils, I knew in an instant you would love them.

Here are a few of my favorites...

  8. What a wonderful time I just had skimming through the Cutting Edge site, looking at all of the beautiful stencils. You're right ... stencilling has come a long way. The all-over damask patterns have me thinking.

This brought back memories for me, because I spent a short time doing stencilling professionally in the late 80's and early 90's. Your reference to mauve and country blue made me chuckle. For a while, these are all anyone wanted, along with rust and seafoam green. Colors come and go in cycles ... we see color trends now that may look just as dated in 25 years as those 80's colors look now.
