If someone asked would you say that your favorite part of spring is the flowers?
Would it be the warm sunshine and how good it feels after a long cold winter. What about walking through the cool grass in bare feet?
The smell of burgers on the grill conjures up nice memories doesn't it?
Funny how you can catch a whiff of something that takes you back to summer camp or Grandma's lilac bush and you can almost remember what you were wearing.
Perhaps one of my favorite things about spring is the new growth on a boxwood.
Quite possibly my other favorite thing is a fern frond as it begins to unfurl.

I love knowing that my grass will get green again. That the leaves will come back on the trees and blow in the breeze. That I will enjoy working in my yard again for the next six months. Yipee!

ReplyDeleteI love daffodils--they're here! I eagerly await that time when the trees are in all different stages of budding; the mountains are a tapestry of shades of green.
ReplyDeleteI love all the things you do plus I love feeling a cool breeze blow in my windows and seeing the curtains flow with it as though it is dancing. I love the scent of rain in the air. It is so refreshing. I absolutely love to watch the sweet birds come to my feeders after being away all winter. It is precious when they bring their babies and teach them how to feed themselves. Spring... God's reassurance of second chances.

It is all about the warm sunshine on my skin for me. I also like the sounds of spring. I was at the neighborhood pond today and the birds were making the most beautiful sounds we just sat in the sunshine and listened.
